Made with

Ingredients

  • 4 Fannie May® Dark Chocolate Bars
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream, Scalding Hot (Not Boiling)
  • ½ Cup Cocoa Powder
  • Optional - Sprinkles Or Finely Chopped Nuts

Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Cookie Dough Scoop

Directions

  • Break Fannie May® Dark Chocolate Bars Into Pieces And Place In A Shallow Bowl. Add Butter & Pour Heavy Cream Over The Chocolate.
  • Let The Chocolate Sit In The Hot Heavy Cream For 5 Minutes, Then Gently Begin Stirring The Mixture. The Chocolate And Butter Will Melt As You Continue Stirring.
  • Once The Mixture Is Smooth, Place Plastic Wrap Over The Bowl And Press Down Onto The Chocolate To Avoid Any Condensation. Chill The Mixture For 2 Hours.
  • Line A Baking Sheet With Parchment Paper. Use A Small Cookie Scoop Or Spoon To Scoop Balls Of The Chocolate Mixture And Place On Prepared Baking Sheet. If The Mixture Seems Firm Enough To Work With, You Can Roll Them Into Balls Now Or If The Mixture Is Too Sticky, Place The Balls Into The Refrigerator For 30 Minutes To Dry Out.
  • Roll The Scooped Mixture Into Balls And Coat In Cocoa Powder. Alternatively, You Can Roll The Truffles Into Sprinkles Or Finely Chopped Nuts. Serve And Enjoy!
