Wire Baking Rack
Directions
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease donut tin with butter or nonstick spray and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and egg until thoroughly combined. Add the sour cream, milk, melted butter and vanilla extract. Mix again until combined.
Pour wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix until there are no more flour pockets. Transfer batterto prepared donut tins, filling each cavity until three-quarters full. You can use a piping bag or spoon to transfer the batter.
Bake the donuts for 8 to 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into one comes out with little to no crumbs. Let the donut cool for a couple minutes in the pan before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the glaze, place Fannie May® Mint Meltaways®, heavy cream and butter into a microwave safe bowl. Heat on 50% power level in the microwave for 90 seconds, stopping halfway to stir. Let the mixture sit for a couple minutes, then stir until smooth.
Dip the top of each donut in the melted chocolate and return the donut to the wire cooling rack. Garnish with chopped Fannie May® Mint Meltaways® and serve.
