1 box of your favorite brownie mix and ingredients needed according to directions
1 lb. Fannie May Pixies
¼ cup roughly chopped pecans

Directions
FOR SHORTBREAD CRUST
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl; cream butter and confectioner’s sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir together flour and baking powder and add in 1/4 cup chopped pecans; blend into butter mixture.
Press shortbread mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13 glass pan. Prick evenly with a fork.
Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes; or until edges are lightly browned.
FOR BROWNIE LAYER
While crust is baking; prepare your favorite pre-made brownie mix according to instructions. Set aside.
Once crust comes out of the oven; pour brownie batter on top of shortbread crust. Spread evenly and put in
oven for an additional 15-20 minutes; or until brownies are completely baked.
FOR TOPPING LAYER
Immediately upon taking brownies out of the oven; open 1 lb. of Fannie May Pixies and place on top of hot
brownies in even rows.
Place brownies back into the oven for 3-5 minutes; until Pixies look spreadable.
Remove from oven. Using a spatula; blend melted Pixies into top layer.
Top with roughly chopped pecans. Wait for brownies to fully cool before cutting.
