1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extracta
2 large eggs
10oz (1 package) Fannie May Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Beat butter, brown sugar and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Mix in eggs, one at a time, then mix in the vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix just until combined. Stir in baking chips.
Drop tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Cool on the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
