  • 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extracta
  • 2 large eggs
  • 10oz (1 package) Fannie May Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • Beat butter, brown sugar and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Mix in eggs, one at a time, then mix in the vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix just until combined. Stir in baking chips.
  • Drop tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Cool on the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
